I was born in Bolton, lived in Harwood and Bradshaw, went to school in Harwood and Bromley Cross and worked in Bolton Town Centre before I moved to Rossendale to be closer to Family.
Bolton will always be in my heart as one of those places where you will always have someone there for you and that is probably why Boltonians have been ranked top for being the friendliest people in Britain, plus , just an FYI, the likes of Peter Kay, Vernon Kay, Sara Cox and Jason Kenny has developed from there.
Being the largest town in the UK and shall I add where the ice cream wafer sandwhich was invented, the schools and education is fantastic with up to 28 ofsted Outstanding Schools, direct train links to Manchester and the Airport, the greatest Museum and even though it does evolve each year, it has long lasting businesses you can always rely on.
Still now, I like go over to Bolton to take walks over Winter Hill and Rivington Pike and pop into the new coffee stop, Fika, for the best coffee I have ever tasted!
I will always enjoy seeing, meeting again and again the friendly faces and their homes and being able to talk to buyers about its handful of villages and it’s rich history.
